Discussion on the DNA Bill

Two great events are being held in Delhi in the coming days. The first is a discussion onTwo great events are being held in Delhi in the coming days. The first is a discussion on the DNA Profiling Bill, which is being organised by CIS. The DNA Bill which will have implications for privacy will be discussed by a panel international experts Helen Wallace from GeneWatch UK, and Jeremy Gruber from the Council for Responsible Genetics from the United States. The meeting will take place from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi in Conference Room No. 2.

India Internet Governance Conference

The second one is a mega event called the India Internet Governance Conference being organised by FICCI, from October 4-5 at FICCI House, Delhi. It is supported by Government, Internet Companies such as Google, Civil Society Organisations such as CIS, SFLC, Internet Democracy Project. Its open to the public and is free.
