The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has been created as an attached office under the Planning Commission. Its role is to develop and implement the necessary institutional, technical and legal infrastructure to issue unique identity numbers to Indian residents.

On June 25th 2009, the Cabinet also created and approved the position of the Chairperson of the UIDAI, and appointed Mr. Nandan Nilekani as the first Chairperson in the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister.

As per the details given above, law students only from Top National Law Schools are eligible to apply.

That leaves me as an interested, but not eligible candidate for the internship. But,I can furnish all other requirements for the job.
Can I still stand a chance to get the internship???

It seems that an unreasonable qualification is required from you. I will surely try to raise this issue before the authorties responsible for framing the policies.
But please do apply I am sure that if you are qualified enough for this job then your non-NLS background will not be used as a parameter to judge you.
