TRAI rejects ESPN’s pricing contention on DTH Platforms

    The fact that the spectrum was sold at a lower price which in turn was sold by the buyer at the higher price is not a scam.
    DOT has set out clearly the conditions of auction and the qualification of the parties/participants interested in the deal.The limitation time is specified for 3G.Infact it is also mentioned that they will be for the metros and then the rest of the country in the absence of the set up for 3G .

    The question is not the amount involved in the auction but the fact that the smaller agents were given a chance too and they could tie up or enter into joint ventures which is termed as “selling off” by the public in the so called 3G “scam”.

    There are many points which have not even been touched or mentioned. Not technical but legal and those provided by varoius Acts.
